The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (“FDIC”) has retained Bienert | Katzman as one of three law firms nationwide selected to audit and investigate fraudulent loans made by a national lending institution, resulting in the largest bank failure and FDIC receivership in banking history. The firm, as approved FDIC counsel, is assisting in the investigation, pursuit and litigation of fraud related claims arising from hundreds of millions of dollars in losses from toxic loans.
